Willder, James “Jim” Charles

Suddenly on Tuesday June 2, 2026, at Bluewater Health in Sarnia, at the age of 78. Jim was the beloved husband of Cindy for 52 years. Loving father of Jim, Jack, Jody, Charles and his wife Krista, Tim, and Tina. Cherished Mushum of Nathanial, Tia, Mason, Morgan, Brookie, Cruze, Larisa, Diane, Owen, Dylan, Erik and Michante, and great Mushum of Alice and Ezra. Jim is survived by his siblings Jeanette Martin, Glenis Lawrence (Jim), Dale Willder (Dolores), Wendy Howes (Howard), Gaylene Young, Dava Robichaud (Yvon) and sister-in-law Judy Willder. Jim is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Predeceased by his parents Bill and Nettie Willder, his sister Louanne Willder, his brother Joe Willder, and his brother-in-law Lawrence Martin. Family and friends will be received at McCormack Aquamation Burial & Cremation Services, 254 George Street, Sarnia (at College Avenue), on Tuesday June 9 for visitation from 2 – 4 pm. Aquamation will take place, a committal service will follow at a later date. Remembrances and condolences may be expressed to the family online in “Jim’s Guestbook” at mccormackfuneralhomesarnia.com. If desired, remembrances to the Kidney Foundation would be gratefully appreciated.

Many wonderful memories of growing up next door, lots of adventures to bones bush building tree fort and catching a frog or tadpole at the creek, was so many great childhood memories and we all remember the whistle from Mr Nighswander across the street that said its time for dinner, rest well Jim a new journey begins!
